Prof. Dr. Manfred Krifka was until September 2022 the director of the Leibniz-Centre General Linguistics (ZAS) and also held a professorship at the Institute for German Language and Linguistics at the Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin. At ZAS, he will lead the following projects until the end of the projects:

• DFG project ANAPIN – Anaphoric Potential of Incorporated Nominals and Weak Definites (extension 2021-2022)
• DFG project A02 Speaker's choices in creole contexts: Bislama and Morisien within the framework of the CRC 1412 Register: Language-Users’ Knowledge of Situational-Functional Variation
• BMBF project QUEST - Quality - Established: Testing and application of curation criteria and quality standards for audiovisual annotated language data
• ERC project SPAGAD - Speech Acts in Grammar and Discourse

Manfred Krifka investigates aspects of linguistic meaning and usage with formal and experimental methods and investigates oceanic languages.
