Dzhuma Abakarova is a doctoral researcher in the Research Area 1 'Laboratory Phonology'
Her current research interests revolve around speech perception, production and speech motor control. She tries to learn more about it by researching how coarticulation works in adults and how it develops in children. This research gives her the fascinating opportunity to work with different types of data, acoustic, articulatory, behavioral, and to explore different methods of analysing these data.
