We have exciting news to announce: The Leibniz-Centre General Linguistics (ZAS) has successfully moved! Since July 1, 2023, you can find us at Pariser Straße 1, 10719 Berlin.
Our director, Prof. Dr. Dr. Artemis Alexiadou, is excited about our new location: "We are looking forward to our new home, a modern, spacious building in the centre of Berlin with state-of-the-art laboratories and conference rooms. We thank the Berlin Senate for putting us in the best possible position for the future in these improved conditions and for allowing us to push our research even further."
Our sister institute, the Leibniz-Zentrum für Literatur- und Kulturforschung (ZfL) and the joint administration of the "Geisteswissenschaftliche Zentren Berlin e.V." (GWZ) are also located in the new building by Eike Becker_Architekten, called ACHTUNDEINS, since the beginning of July. "Eins" (one) stands for Pariser Str. 1, "Acht" (eight) for Meierottostr. 8, on the corner of which the building stands, directly at the underground station Spichernstraße.
