Dr. Luke Adamson is a researcher in the Research Area 3 'Syntax and Lexicon'. He is also Principal Investigator of the DFG project Grammatical gender in nominal syntax (GenNomSyn).

Dr. Luke Adamson's research interests include syntax/morphology modularity; the locus and representation of grammatical gender features and how they are interpreted; markedness and defaults; agreement; root suppletion and suppletive allomorphy; syntax inside nominals; argument structure; and coordination.
