The 4th conference “Bi/multilingualism and Specific Language Impairment (Developmental Language Disorder) (Bi-SLI) was a great success. More than 300 researchers and speech and language therapists from over 50 countries attended the conference, which was held from May 9-11, 2022 at ZAS Berlin in a hybrid format. This is the first on-site international conference held at ZAS since the outbreak of COVID.
The Bi-SLI conference takes place every two years at different partner institutions. It deals with language development and assessment in (a) typically developing bilingual and multilingual children. Researchers from a wide range of disciplines are invited to present their research findings.
