Artemis Alexiadou has been elected to the Academia Europaea

Prof. Dr. Dr. h.c. Artemis Alexiadou, Vice-Director of Leibniz-Zentrum Allgemeine Sprachwissenschaft and Professor of English Linguistics at Humboldt Universität zu Berlin, has been elected to the prestigious Academia Europaea.

The Academia Europaea was founded in 1988 with the aim to advance and propagate excellence in scholarship. Membership is by invitation only and follows a rigorous peer review selection process. Currently, the Academy has approximately 4,000 members, among them 72 Nobel Laureates.
