Plural pronouns generally give rise to plurality inferences.  In the scope of quantificational operators however, such inferences can be weakened or possibly vanish entirely. Determining the projection of plurality inferences promises interesting insights into the nature of semantic projection and pragmatic competition. This project relies on cutting edge theoretical analyses and experimental techniques to resolve key questions on inference projection.
