Laboratories

Access to our laboratories is via Meierottostraße 8, 10719 Berlin.

Phonetics Laboratory

Phonetic experiments, acoustic recordings, investigations and analyses are performed in the ZAS phonetics laboratory. The staff of the Laboratory Phonology Research Unit and the other research units, as well as students and scientists from associated institutions use the laboratory to analyze the speech-acoustics of data collected from field research, and during breath measurements and speech recordings done in the soundproofed recording room.  more ›

 

Psycholinguistics Laboratory

The Psycholinguistics Laboratory at ZAS emerged from an interdisciplinary initiative that aims to investigate language production, perception and acquisition on the basis of linguistic theories and modern experimental methods. For example, reaction and reading times are measured or gaze and mouse movements are recorded.  more
