Mariia Razguliaeva has been awarded an MGK scholarship in the SFB Register 1412 project B06 Register in the cross-linguistic diachrony of logical particles / Research area 4 'Semantics & Pragmatics'. She is a PhD candidate at Humboldt-Universität in Slavic linguistics with a strong interest in corpus and experimental approaches to language.

Her research focuses on language change and the interfaces between syntax, semantics, and pragmatics. As part of the B06 project “Register in the cross-linguistic diachrony of logical particles”, she examines the role of register in the historical development of polarity-related phenomena in East-Slavic, focusing in particular on the use of negative concord items.
