Dr. Eniola Ladipo is working on an Alexander von Humboldt Fellowship in the project An Ex-Situ Semantic Analysis of Focus in Yorùbá: Toward a Unified Theory of Focus and Questions (ESAFY)/ Forschungsbereich 4 'Semantik & Pragmatik'.
Her research focuses on the interfaces between syntax, semantics, and pragmatics, with particular interests in question constructions, mass nouns, focus, and information structure in Yorùbá. She explores how evidence from Yorùbá and other African languages contributes to cross-linguistic theories of grammar and meaning.
