Dr. Anna Kampanarou is a researcher in the DFG project Roots in context: a cross linguistic investigation / Research Area 3 ‘Syntax und Lexikon’.
Her research interests center on cases of alternation, where different linguistic forms yield identical or closely related interpretations. Within this area, she works in theoretical syntax and its interfaces with morphology and semantics, with a particular focus on argument structure in both the nominal and verbal domains. Her work has addressed phenomena such as existential and possessive constructions, copulas, prepositions, and case, with a special emphasis on Modern Greek.
