Dr. Piotr Gulgowski is a researcher in the DFG project Agreement mismatches in relative clauses and related structures / Research area III 'Syntax & Lexicon'.

His general interests are in research that leads to a better understanding of the psychological and cognitive processes underlying the use of language. This includes the findings and experimental techniques falling into the domain of psycho/neurolinguistics. So far, his specific research topics have included the processing of grammatical number, the individuation principle involved in nominal countability and verbal aspect as well as (un)grammaticality illusions in foreign-accented speech.
