Nele Arnold is a doctoral researcher in the DFG project Grammatical gender in nominal syntax / Research Area 3 'Syntax and Lexicon'.

Her research interests include syntax and morphology (especially the morphosyntax of nominal phrases), language contact and language change. She works on German and its historical stages and dialects, French and French-based creoles as well as Slavic languages.
