Dr. Cory Bill is a senior researcher in the ERC project Realizing Leibniz’s Dream: Child Languages as a Mirror of the Mind; Generator Group / Research Area 4 'Semantics & Pragmatics'.
He is interested in the study of linguistic meaning in isolation (semantics) and in context (pragmatics). Thus far, Cory Bill's research has investigated (among other things) scalar implicatures, presuppositions, and free choice inferences. These investigations have followed two main research paths; adult language processing, and child language acquisition.
