In the latest episode of the Acoustical Society of America's podcast ‘Across Acoustics’ Aleksandra Ćwiek and Susanne Fuchs talk to Kat Setzer about the latest findings on the relationship between sound and meaning. They discuss individual studies that were recently published in a special issue of The Journal of the Acoustical Society of America. These studies go beyond investigations of the usual phonological features and discuss sound symbolism as a continuous phenomenon. The special issue was edited by Aleksandra Ćwiek and Susanne Fuchs in collaboration with Jody Kreiman.
