Seda Esersin, doctoral researcher at Anadolu University, will join ZAS as a fellow from 1st July to 31st December. She specializes in bilingual/multilingual language acquisition, the role of cognition in language development and language disorders in multilingual children. As a strong believer in valid assessment for language minority children, and a speech-language therapist herself, she is committed to continuing this line of work until the bilinguals have access to the same assessment and intervention practices that their monolingual peers do. The purpose of the collaboration with ZAS is to contribute to the ongoing research of ZAS on Turkish language, especially on the "Turkish Language Proficiency Test for Multilingual Children".
