As part of a collaboration between the Leibniz-Centre General Linguistics (ZAS) and Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin, we are currently looking for participants for two linguistic studies on language processing. Both studies are aimed at adolescents aged 16–19 and will take place at Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin.
For a study on the processing of spoken language, we are looking for German-speaking adolescents aged 16–19.
In the study, participants will listen to short sentences in German. Using eye-tracking, we investigate how spoken language is processed in real time. Participants’ eye movements will be recorded while they listen.
Adolescents can participate if they:
Location: Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin
Duration: approx. 1.5 hours
Compensation: 20 euros
For another study on the processing of written language, we are looking for Russian-German bilingual adolescents aged 16–19.
In the study, participants will read short sentences silently, not aloud. Using eye-tracking, we investigate how written language is processed in real time. Participants’ eye movements will be recorded while they read.
Adolescents can participate if they:
Location: Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin
Duration: two sessions of approx. 1.5 hours each
Compensation: 40 euros
