ANR-DFG project approved

13.08.2018

The project "Salammbo", approved by the DFG and the ANR for a period of 3 years, is focused on the mutual interaction of spoken language (cognition) and physical movement. Starting in October 2018, the role of physical movement and language-accompanying gestures at various linguistic levels will be investigated. The effects of physical activity on long-term learning processes will also be tested.

The German-French team will be led by Susanne Fuchs (FB1) at ZAS and Amélie Rochet-Capellan (CNRS) at the GIPSA laboratory in Grenoble.
