Natalia Gagarina, head of research area "Language Development & Multilingualism", has been granted the dignity of an adjunct professorship at the Department of German Studies and Linguistics at Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin in recognition of her outstanding achievements in research and teaching. Additionally, Natalia Gagarina has been a part-time professor at Uppsala University since 2018.
Natalia Gagarina has published on mono- and bilingual (a)typical language acquisition in the fields of lexicon, morpho-syntax, discourse, as well as aspect and anaphors. In recent years, she has worked intensively on the theoretical modeling of the organization of narrative texts and the development of methods for language assessment in multilingual children.
