09.07.2020

The President of the German Research Foundation (DFG) has appointed Prof. Dr. Manfred Krifka to the Selection Committee for the Gottfried Wilhelm Leibniz Prize for the next 8 years. The prize is the most important research award in Germany. It was established in 1985 and is endowed with up to 2.5 million euros. The prize is intended to improve the working conditions of outstanding researchers and to expand their research opportunities, relieve them of administrative tasks and make it easier for them to employ particularly qualified young researchers. The Selection Committee is made up of particularly respected and experienced scientists and academics who have a broad overview of the research landscape.
