Kilu von Prince appointed to Heinrich-Heine-Universität Düsseldorf

11.06.2020

Congratulations to Kilu von Prince, who has accepted a professorship in General Linguistics at the Heinrich Heine University in Düsseldorf. She has been associated with the ZAS since 2009, initially as a staff member in a project on the languages on Ambrym in Vanuatu, which was funded by the Volkswagen Foundation and that led to a grammar of the language Daakaka. After several years at Humboldt University, where she led a DFG project on Melanesian languages, she is currently working again at the ZAS in the QUEST project on the post-use potential of audiovisual language data.
